Hi,
We
have tried to set up the IMail 6.0 LDAP Server, in order to get the data from
the LDAP database to fill form fields through Cold Fusion.
The Sys Admin has created users with First Name, Last
Name, Email through the IP Switch Admin console.
We
started the LDAP Service, initiated the LDAP DB, and the server is up
and running on port 389. The LDAP Monitor shows no problems either. BUT, we are
unable to connect to this server, through Outlook or Outlook Express or IE, or
through a Cold Fusion interface (with the CFLDAP tag). We tried to connect using
the IP adress or the DNS name, but it simply times out. The server *IS*
pingable.
Has
anyone an idea on how to connect to this server ?
