Wanda,

I could not connect to the LDAP service, with an LDAP client or with a
telnet session to port 389. This would indicate several possibilities:
Router/firewall is blocking access to that port/server
Service is NOT running (or not running correctly)
Some other program is also running an LDAP service and the 2 are
'conflicting'
Service is not installed

You will have to check the first, the second is less of a possiblity (you
say it is running). For the third: Check your Control Panel, Services,
looking for more than one LDAP service (stop all, then restart the one you
wish to use). If this does not show IMail LDAP service, then the install may
have failed. You can try re-installing IMail, or try the commands at a DOS
\imail prompt:
net stop imap4d32.exe
imap4d32 -remore (removes service)
imap4d32 -install (installs then starts only that service)
Would not hurt to try these DOS commands, even if all looks OK.
