Of course, it is 'easier' and 'simpler' to do that . Heck, it is also *very*
tempting to setup a little looping batch file (already have one!!) to spam
the crap out of someone who sends you spam, but I don't do that either. I do
understand your needs, desires and frustrations, but IMail is a complex
product and like all complex things, so parts are easy, some not so easy.
The more complex we make the situation, the more complex the handling of it
becomes. Guess, all I'm trying to say is that it is helpful to simplify the
situation (of course, that can build in other complexities!), so only a
subset of the situaion is addressed by your 'solution'. Yes, you probably
can 'do it all' with IMail, but you will have to follow the 'rules' and
remember (a log book??) what was done and why (and how IMail works).

Len offers a solution (as I did, but in less detail) and you seem to have
the numbers that would (should) convince your bosses that the cost/bennefits
should offer a quick payback (admin savings and lower loads). I'm sure you
could come up with a computer to do the job pretty cheaply, so the software
cost (even if you used IMail!) are modest. If it makes your job simpler,
easier and you become more productive, the guys above, should help you.
