Annalisa,
Easiest fix is to remove the limit on the 'postmaster' (actually postmaster
is normally an alias, not a user account!) account or the accoutn that
postmaster forwards to. I would never impose a limit on the postmaster/root
accounts as these handle mail automaticaly and should be carefully
maintained by the system administrator.
Also sounds like there is an 'autoresponder' somewhere in the loop. Of
course, if you have 2 accounts over the limit, they could each be sending
the 'over limit' message, every time email comes in.
