Jess,
The limit (1000 characters) is used when changes are made via the Web
interfaces. If you use the console appliation, there is a 64K limit (limit
of Notepad!)on the size of the message file. If your users need to set these
things externally, the only other choice is to allow them FTP access to the
location of the file, and they can ftp the file to the server after changes
are made.

The Autoresponder in imail5 appears to limit the size of the reponse sent
out. I was wondering what others are using as an alternative to the built in
autoresponder. I have looked around for alternatives but I just don't see a
good alternative.
