What AutoResponder are you using, Info Manager or Vacation?
Both would put files into the actual 'username' folder (in your case:
d:\users\username\mailroot\'username').
But each has its own named files. Set one up and 'Apply' the change, then
look for the new files created in the users directory. Each Info Manager
'subarea' uses a file named, 'subarea'.inf, contents of that file are used
as the reply.
