OK, I'm still doing research, but I've run into a contradiction. On the KB
here ---http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19980116-DD09.htm
it says the processing order is "Alias, User Account Name, Forward, Rules,
Info Manager, Vacation" Which seems to be the case.

But in the user guide on pages 67 and 68 it says the order is "alias, user
ID, Delivery rules for mail host, Delivery rules for user ID, Info Manager,
Vacation, Forwarding. This would be nice, but it doesn't appear to be
going in that order. Please Help if you have any info!!!!

Sincerely,

Bobby Cannon

Subject: [IMail Forum] Rules and forwarding

Hello all,

This is quite urgent, so please help if you can.

I need to filter email from one of our former employees trying to recruit my
current employees not to mention steal my customers. I want to redirect all
mail from this individual going to the Imail server to a different mailbox.
I've tried setting up a rule "F~whatever:mailbox" it works great unless it's
sent to a mailbox that is being forwarded elsewhere. From what I can
gather, Imail forwards the mail to the forwarding address before checking it
against rules.ima file. Is there a way to do this with rules? If not is
there a way to do this period?

Once again, I just want to forward all mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or some
search string) addressed to anyone on my Imail server (including those that
have their email forwarded to another address) to a specific mailbox.
Please help!!!!

Sincerely,

Bobby Cannon
