So did your tech support contact say where the programmers would fix the
order in some future release?

I actually spoke with tech support. They said that the KB article is
actually old, and thought that the User guide is newer. They also went on
to say that the programmers may have forgotten to change the process order
in Imail. That they actually intended to change it, but somehow forgot? I
guess we'll see. That could explain why so many people on this list get
such erratic behavior from their rules. I have 800 or so users, and at
least 200 of them have their mail forwarded!

The KB article was corrected to read that forwards are
processed first. Manual stayed wrong.
Unfortunately within Imail there does not appear to be a way
around this. I have seen viruses, spam spew, etc go through
the forwards with no way to stop it locally.
Not sure what to suggest here. As long as the forward file
exist then it will be sent on. Myself, I resorted to using a
gateway machine to prevent such.
