Hi I am taking my Imail from an intranet email package to a internet email package, naturally this means that the IP will have to be changed to a new address. I am just wondering if I add an IP to my NT server if IMAIL would then be accessable or is it restricted to the IP address entered?
Imail will listen on all ip addresses it finds in the NT tcp/ip settings. And it also writes the NT ip's to the Imail registry.
Imail does not erase the ip address from its registry when you remove an ip from the NT tcp/ip. You have to remove the ip's from the Imail registry with regedit. Search the ipswitch knowledge base for how to do it.
