I have the some problem. I would like to move IMail server to another network segment with faster connection beyond current router, so that IP change seems to be necessary. I am afraid that it will cause a problem, since some users have already used the server, with their e-mail data, of course. Any help/comments would be really appreciated.
Changing the ip without changing the Imail hostname "should" be invisible to your users, since they "should" have configured their mail programs to point at the hostname for POP3 receiving and SMTP sending.
