Ok, so like I told you, the client is very computer illiterate. He was
putting the account ID into the account name field!
So now everything is configured correctly, but he still cannot pop into my
server. When he tries to send/receive he gets "mail.domain.com" cannot be
found. We have had this client for a while now, and I just recently (30
days) migrated from SLmail to Imail. On SLmail he didn't have a problem. I
have about 250 users, some using Macs and they have no problems. This guy
is the only one having a problem. Because he is on a mac I feel helpless.
He dials into a local ISP, (some of my other clients use the same ISP), I
tried having him change his DNS to point to my server, but don't know if we
changed it correctly. I guess the bottom line is this... It was working on
SLmail, now on Imail it won't work. The only thing that changed is instead
of using mail.domain.com, we now use mail1.domain.com and it is correct in
DNS, because my other clients don't have a problem. If anyone has any
ideas, please share them.

Sincerely,

Bobby Cannon
