Does anyone use APOP with Eudora and 6.03? It almost works, but then acts
like the standoff that used to happen with SMTP auth. After a long
period, Eudora gives up waiting for the server. A POP debug log shows
that IMail saw the authentication and check the mailbox but never got a
request do do anything. Eventually it shows Eudora aborting the
connection.
I didn't have any other mail client that supported APOP to test with.
