I agree with Len. You should get a bit more familar with DNS.
If you pick up BIND, even though you won't use it because you run Win2K, you will get some good docs.
Also, http://www.dns.net/dnsrd/ has some good info and links to more.
Meantime, I am sending a screenshot of what my primary domain looks like. Nevermind that DIG doesn't like it<g>.

I am trying to setup DNS services on Windows 2000 server for IMail 6.0.  The setup below works but I am not sure why.  It does not have any MX or A records and still works.  I can ping any of the hosts and send/receive email and all works fine.
 
Does anyone have a sample screen shot of how this is suppose to be setup?
