We have written a program that is a front end for analog, the FREE web
analysis application. Our program drives analog and creates a report showing
each Web's bandwidth in a nice format. It also, as an option, zips up each
log file and places it in the client's web root and an archive direcetory of
your choice.
Soon our program will provide the option of create the complete analog
report and copying it directly into the client's web root. We run the
program on our server, on 150 logfiles, the largest being 150+ mb, it takes
about 10 minutes.
You can find analog at www.analog.cx
analog is a very small exe. It copies right into any directory on your
server. No dlls.
Our program is also a small exe

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: analysis
This is off-topic, so I'll apologize in advance, but I figure any ISP using
IMail will also have an opinion on my question. Here it is:
What do you use for generating hit analysis reports for client website?
That is, the program grabs the log (log file or database), generates a
report, and emails it to the client. We've been using Hit List for a long
time, but our version is getting old, so now we're assessing new products.
They all seem overly complicated and take too much work to setup for each
client. Hmmm... IMail is good; maybe we get Ipswitch to write a program.
Oh, yeah, we work in a WinNT/Win2k environment.
