This can be used for many things - some more exciting than others. For
example, a customer needs to update their web site. If you setup the alias
correctly, they can attach the *.htm pages to an email message and senf it
off to the server. The server then strips the attachments and dumps the
html files into their public_html directory. Your client doesn't need to
know anything about FTP and if FTP is blocked by their company firewall,
they can scoot by via SMTP.
