Your probleb might be 1 of 2 things - maybe both:
First is network access

You are probably running the SMTP service under the system account (the
default) - which does not have network access.
You will need to change the account the service runs under to an account
that has network access privs.
Second is long filenames
-------------------------------------
I know, it sounds silly, but I have found that pgm aliases must be limited
to an 8.3 format. Save your .BAT and .CMD files that the pgm alias refers
to in a dir like:
d:\imail\pgms
and be sure to use 8.3 format for the actual batch file too.
