Hello everyone,

Has anyone come up with an easy method or pre-written utility that allows
aliases to be added remotely, via email, to a particular host in Imail?
Specifically, I'd like to be able to send an email message to a
program-alias, on a particular host, that contains a line of text as
follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

where johndoe is the alias to be added to the host & [EMAIL PROTECTED]
is the destination for mail that is sent to the johndoe alias. I tried
setting up a program-alias that contained the following command line:

addalias.exe -h somehost.com -f

This almost works, but the problem is that in addition to adding the alias &
email address, it also thinks that the header information in the email
itself are additional aliases that should be added. The result is a list of
aliases that look like this:

Received -> list.ipswitch.com
Date -> Fri
Message-Id -> 200005051427.AA49086542
Mime-Version -> 1.0
Content-Type -> text/plain
Reply-To -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
johndoe -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Before breaking out the C++ compiler to write a custom solution, I was
hoping someone has figured out a better way to do something like this.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Randy
