i have a big problem.
i just upgraded our database from access to SQL, and thanks to all the folks out there
who had posted the instructions on how to do this.
now everyhing "seems" to work except that the sql server bogs down our system. the
server is running at 100% most of them time. so, the overall web messaging response
time is real SLOW, sometimes users got timeout after logging in the system for a few
seconds
we have a pentium 550 with 384M ram and 20G Raid 5 system. only NT 4, imail and sql 7
are running on this machine. we have about 40,000 users in one domain.
btw, the reason for the upgrade is that our web msg stops working with a 70mb access
database. i am not sure that has anything to do with the amount of users.
