Hi Mark,

You could add multiple entries to the hosts file on the client pointing to
the same IP address.

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMAP and netscape

Hello,
I've searched through the knowledge base and through the list
archives and can't find an answer, so I'm posting here.
I have a test server up and running (we're bringing our mail in-house
soon) with IMail 6.0 (w/o SMTP patches) and I'm using netscape 4.7 as a
client. I set up the first domain (Tissueinformatics.com) with the IP
and set up a second virtual host w/o IP (tiibiospace.com).
When I configure netscape to use IMAP, I can set up one or the other
with no problem. Send/receive works fine. When I try to add the second
host as an IMAP, I get an error in netscape saying that there's already
an IP (I used IP instead of name) installed. (Netscape supports
multiple IMAPs, but not multiple POPs.)
My questions are, is there a way to get several IMAPs set up on one
client? We have several mail servers going and some people are listed
in all. Is this just a netscape problem, i.e. would Eudora or Outlook
work instead? If you can set up several IMAPs, how do you differentiate
them with only one IP listed for the mail server?

Thanks,
