I'm not sure if it is all plain sailing with the 6.04 patch, I have just
noticed that when I restart the SMTP service it stops servicing requests.
The service appears to be running but there is a error in the log files
saying that it could not bind to port 25. Normally this means that the port
is already in use.
I am currently running the test with a 700+ IP addresses and the ODBC
connection to MS SQL 7 on Windows 2000 (not sp1). I am going to try with
less IP addresses.
If you have installed 6.04, does your SMTP service stop responding after it
is restarted?
