I have found what I think is a problem created by the installation of IE
5.5. While building two computers (one with NT 4.0 WS and the other with
Win 95) I installed Office 2000 and then upgraded to IE 5.5. I found that
when Outlook tried to look up an address on the Imail LDAP server Outlook
would crash with an error in wldap32.dll. I tried repairing Office and
various other things and then finally tried using Outlook Express. It
crashed with the same error. Looking at the properties for wldap32.dll I
noticed that the Product Version was "5.00.2168.1" and the Product Name said
"Microsoft(R) Windows (R) 2000 Operating System". After replacing this file
with a file with Product Version "4.00" the problem went away and I could
look up addresses again.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Dan
