Hello, I have a customer getting the following message when trying to send via his smtp account. I set up his mail in my outlook and it works fine. So far he has set up a new mail account, doublechecked spelling and caps, looked for spaces, doublecheked accountname and password. He has also tried it from different pcs. It is a virtual host. We use the built in database. On the server side we have smtp auth turned on and relay for local users checked..if that matters. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem? I am not sure what logs would track this.. And I am out of ideas of what else he can try. I tend to think it is a client problem, but could it be something on the server side? I have stopped and started all imail services. Here is the message he gets..the domain name and mail name has been changed. The server is proper by the way. The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. Account: 'thename', Server: 'www.thename.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 4.7.1 Please try again later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 >From the customer: I cant figure out what is going on it happens in spurts sometimes its good but for the most part latley its not been working properly. Thanks for any troubleshooting ideas. I could not find anything in the knowledgebase. Regards Kim Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
