Where is it being shortened (I assume that's the problem)?
Using POP3, the best you can do is use the "TOP x" commmand to show all the headers
and the first X lines of the message. Not sure how JavaMail works, but it probably
does that piece for you.

We use the subject line for Simple Text Messaging within our wireless
applications. We do this mainly for speed reasons - it is much faster to use
JavaMail Prefetch features then to retrieve the body for every message.
This way is significantly faster.
So how can I get the whole subject line back out when using a POP interface?
The whole subject line is there because I can use the iMail client to forward
the message and I get the whole subject line - so its when my JavaMail program
is using the POP3 to retrieve the message.
