Has anyone mentioned to check in the Services Control panel and see if it is
set to Automatic. If not, set it to Automatic. The Imail Web Service is a
StandAlone service that can be stopped and started via the Services panel.
You don't have to use the IMail Admin interface.
Hope this helps.

So, nobody has an answer to this? Is there maybe some configuration option
I'm missing?

It's set to the default (8383). As far as I know there aren't any other
services running on that port.

Web messaging service should start automatically. Are you running it on the
default port, are there any other services that may be overlapping?
