I find nothing but successful logins. Although he checks his e-mail every 2
minutes so perhaps the 30 minutes I took seaching for the e-mail in question
never hit any failed attempts because there were SO MANY.
I mentioned in a previous mail that wasn't responded to that I noticed that
even though it's in an Access database, the users were defined in the
registry with users as well. I thought perhaps IMail was getting confused
between authenticating on what's in the registry and what's in the database.
I since deleted the domain and re-created it to see how it affects us. He
says so far it's okay but we'll see.
This registry thing I found doesn't help me with the other domain which
doesn't have a user defined within the registry but still has authentication
errors with POP3 and there are no changes being made to the account. It's
ridiculous.
The strangest thing is that it doesn't affect any of the other 10 accounts
he checks on the same server and it doesn't affect any other users.
