I just noticed something along these lines. I installed Windows 2000 SP1
this weekend and ever since I installed it I can't seem to keep the smtp
server working properly. I have it set to require authentication in order
to relay, but after only a few minutes of the service being up it starts
prompting users for their password when they try to send. They put in their
correct password but it still rejects it.

Anyone else have this problem or know the solution?

The SMTP server is 5.05.

tia,
Chuck
