Your best bet at this point is probably to just set up a filter to stop all
files with the extension you mentioned above (again, I'm not specifying it
since many people would filter even a mention of it).

You could go with virus scanning software, but that's probably going to run
at least $5,000, and tends to be quite a hassle (setting it up, and dealing
with the quirks/bugs of another mail server).  But, it gets the job done.
We're working on something a bit less expensive to let you running virus
scanning software directly on the IMail server, which prevents the need for
a separate mail server.
