Hi All,
I'm new to IMail (1 day--moved to NT from UNIX) and would like some help on
a question I have concerning IMail v5.0.
Suppose a site has 3 domain names sharing a single IP, a 'primary' domain
(eg, domain1.com) and 2 others pointing to it (eg, domain2.com &
domain3.com).
Now my question is whether it is possible to have a user (eg,
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) at the 'primary' domain accept any mail sent to 'joe' no
matter which of the 3 domain names is used?
In other words, is there a way to configure IMail to accept mail sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] as being the same as being sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] so that in effect all the same users are shared across 3
domains with only one mailbox? and any mail to a user, no matter which of
the 3 domain names is used, is accepted at that one mailbox? Otherwise I am
assuming you would need to set up IMail for 3 separate domains with no
'defaulting' to the 'primary' domain...
Thanks,
Chris
