Yes, see below.
For mail delivery purposes, there's no distinction or preference for
the default/primary mailhost vs the virtual domains.

The default domain's directory is:
domains\virt1\users\joe\main.mbx
If you define the directory for virt2 and virt3 as also being:
domains\virt1\users\joe\main.mbx
Then, there is only one joe mailbox, but three possible addresses:
joe@virt1
joe@virt2
joe@virt3
All joe's mail gets delivered to
domains\virt1\users\joe\main.mbx
To have 3 distinct joe mailboxes:
domains\virt1\users\joe\main.mbx
domains\virt2\users\joe\main.mbx
domains\virt3\users\joe\main.mbx
