Ha, you should be happy you got an outright session termination from Yahoo.
I follow the Lyris list. Their current user complaint, "Yahoo Boo
Hoo," is that Yahoo's very slow SMTPD processes accept a session
from Lyris SMTP client processes but then proceed through the SMTP
session very slowly, effectively tarpitting the Lyris list server,
and reducing the number of Lyris processes to deliver list mail
elsewhere. Not fun when you know the humongous volumes Lyris list
servers handle and how humongous their outgoing queues can become
when there are delivery pb's.
