More specifically the "days before" is the TTL before. Change the
TTL to 1 hour from 1 or 3 days or whatever it is. that means all
caching will last only one hour, so after you change the DNS records,
at most the DNS caching will be giving out the wrong answers for 1H,
after which they will expire the cached data as stale, and query the
AUTH DNS and obtain the new data.
To prevent your DNS from getting hammered, move your TTL back to 1D
or 2D from 1H.
