I just had the same problem the other day.  In my case, the user 
in question apparently deleted the Deleted mailbox and had the 
option of sending deleted messages to the Deleted mailbox enabled 
in her preferences.

I simply created a deleted.mbx file in her directory (i.e. 
c:\imail\users\username\deleted.mbx).

This fixed the problem of not being able to delete messages via 
web mail.
