iMail should be able to handle the traffic just fine. But don't try to set
up 500 lists!
I would either use a program like GoldMine (www.GoldMine.com) or create a
program that does what you need. We actually use both. GoldMine sends out
emails from the sales rep (50+ sales reps, 50k+ potential customers) to the
customer before the sale, and our custom order entry software sends out
emails from the sales rep after the sale.
Contact me off list if you need more advice on this since it's pretty off
topic.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Lists Capacity
Hi,
I have a new client who need to send mails to his customers. He have 10000
clients but divided by 500 sales reps. So he wants the mail send to the
customer be FROM the sales reps, I mean personalize sender for each group of
client. But we sent the same message to the 10000 customer .... Currently
the only way I see that is 500 differents lists and 500 differents messages
send every time we want to post ... Any suggestion ? By the way do you think
that Imail Server could handle easily 500 lists with aprox 20-25 users by
lists ?
Thanks
Yves Giguere
