FWIW: At ISPcon I did mention this to the programmers (Hi Bob!) and
explained that I would like to see both the allowed and blocked IPs be kept
in a standard text file. One reason was to allow much more IPs in there and
another is to be able to automate some processes like adding blocked IPs
based on log analysis.

It's getting better, they are consolidating a lot of these, used to be
worse...
