Well, more and more ISPs are blocking port 25 (SMTP) these days, and that
would give the exact symptoms your user reports. The ISP makes the change,
and now users cannot send mail. Easiest test I know of is to have the user
run a Telnet program, giving IP/hostname of your mail server and port of 25
and see if they can connect. If no connection, then highly likely it is
being blocked. If they then use IP/hostname of ISPs mail server, port 25,
and can connect, definitly being blocked for outside IPs!
Mac attachments are not the same as PCs. If that or another Mac can read the
mail and attachment, that is good. If you are talking about using a Browser
and Web Msg, then I don't know what it might be.
