I know of one Imail "system" in Zuid Afrika with 750,000 users but
there are 18 servers with about 40K users per server.
The biggest single Imail server I've seen, quad Xeon, in this list is
250K users, 25 gb traffic/day, using a Unix machine for outgoing
deliveries, and no web messaging. Machine was 90+% idle.
There are probably dozens of sites with 50K to 150K users on one machine.
If you are planning web mail service, you will need more servers
than just a POP3 service.
