I am writing a cgi program with an http component which takes the requests
from port80, calls Imail on 8383, gets the results and feeds them back on 80
to the client.

If you really need to you can run multiple VM (Virtual machine) on one
Server.
All you need is memory for each VM. The product to use is vmware at
www.vmware.com.
