> I am using IMAIL ver 6 (trial) on Win 2k.
I have setup the imail system for external database (Access 2000).
If i add users from the Imail administrator screen then there is no problem
but when i add entries to the database externally (manually adding entries
in Access) and then try to login the new user, it logs in alright but
his/her folders are shown as "Invalid folder" in the web messaging service.
When i send a mail to the new user everything becomes alright.
Please tell me whether i have to send a welcome message to new users always
as soon as they sign up??

Yep, you do. The first message "initializes" the account. Our EZSignUp
program does this automatically, as soon as the user creates his or her
account. Some Admins are using it as a quick and easy way to create users
from the web, since you don't have to manually send the new account a
message.
