I make all our clients log into the outgoing SMTP, it is and option on newer
version of Outlook Express and Outlook 2000. I know that Outlook 97, and am
pretty sure that Outlook Express that comes with IE4.x does not have that
option.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Client can receive but not send

I have a client using Outlook Express 5, and they're saying that they can
get their mail without a problem, but can't send mail on the same account.
I've gone through all the basic setup stuff with them, and everything seems
to be correct. I set up the mail account on my workstations (Outlook 2000),
and it works fine for me.

Anyone ever seen this problem before? I'm at a loss. I've searched the MS
Knowledge Base and Deja, but to no avail.

TIA

-Jeff
