I am havin an odd problem I am hoping you can help me with.

I am running an iMail 6.05a server that is acting as a relay for our internal company
mail server, and as a standard mail server for a couple of our "outside" sites. It
forwards mail properly, and the "outside" site works properly as well. What I
*cannot* do is send mail from the "outside" site to the internal one that the mail
server is acting as a relay for. It tells me that the domain wasn't found.

I have the internal domains set up in the HOSTS file and it is relaying just fine from
the public IP addresses to the internal ones just fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem that could throw some light on what I am
doing wrong?

As an example it is a forwarder for maildomain1.com and forwards fine. It is a mail
server for maildomain2.com and accepts and sends mail fine. But it cannot send mail
from maildomain2.com to maildomain1.com. It says that maildomain1.com doesn't exist.

Thank you.
