Hi!

I have a user by name jcochran in my main mail domain, TFI.NET.
Recently we added a new organization that came with domain ifci-
east.com. TFI-EAST.COM is now alias for TFI.NET

TFI-EAST.COM organization also has user jcochran. To avoid the
confusion we set up this user with new name, jecochran.
Now we are facing the problem as to how jecochran will be able to
receive e-mail that was sent to her old address,
jcochran@tfi-
east.com

Here is what I did: I set up a rule for jcochran mailbox that if the
incoming e-mail message contains "to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]" it
should be delivered to "jecochran" mailbox. Next, I created
jecochran.fwd file and placed it in jcochran mailbox directory.

However, I achieved only partial success: e-mail for
jcochran@tfi-
east.com gets forwarded to jecochran, but instead of going into her
main.mbx, it lands in sub-box, i.e. jecochran.mbx. In other words, Jecochran is
able to get her old-address messages only through Web
Messaging or via IMAP4 account, or through second POP3 account.
I tried to set the rules for the mailbox of jecochran to place everything in her main mailbox from jecochran sub-box,
but this didn't work.

Is there any way to work around this problem or is there alternative
method of forwarding in such situation?

thank you
