Why not use PHP to connect to the IMAP/POP server on the IMail machine and
just program your own web interface? You should be able to do that fairly
easy using PHP. There are any number of freeware versions of this available.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Integration with web site
How can I do this?
I've got a fellow developing a new web site for our organization. As a part
of the site, our employees will be able to log in on the site (which uses
pages dynamically generated through php) to get customized information, an
address book, and a calendar. My boss has now asked my how we can integrate
the logins between that site and my iMail site so that when a user logged
into the web site clicks on an address in the web site, it opens a compose
window from the iMail server and places the address in the To: field. This
is assuming that we have synchronized the usernames/passwords between the
two servers so that the web server's credentials can be used to
transparently log into the iMail webmail system.
Can this be done or are we pipe dreaming?
