Thank you very much. I'll check that out. It sounds like just the answer.
I've been trying to get them to let me get the Killer templates for a long
time now, this would be an excellent reason. When the price is determined,
I will be putting it in my budget.

Curtis,

Definitely not pipedreaming. We've been working on a product called "You've
Got IMail!" that integrates with the Remember Me feature in KillerWebMail.
Basically, you can put the You'veGotIMail! display on any or all of your
portal's pages (they can be just plain .html, or .asp, .php, whatever...)
with just one line of code. The user will see their new message count, and
have a button to Read Mail and a button to Send Message. The Send Message
button does exactly what you're talking about... opens the message
composition window from webmail. If you call the sendMessage() Javascript
function with an address, like this:

 <a href="javascript:sendMessage('[EMAIL PROTECTED]');return false">
   Sales</a>

... the message will be started with a To: of [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If the user has NOT checked the Remember Me option in webmail, the
You'veGotIMail! display will show a login form, with a Remember Me option.
So, either way it's useful.

To see how it works, you can check our alpha version by going to
http://hksi.net/youvegotimail.htm, check the "Remember Me" option, then
login with Demo and password "blue". Once you've got the cookie set, you can
close the webmail window, and refresh the above page, and you'll still see
your new msg count and be able to create new messages, without actually
logging in to webmail.

We're trying to get it ready by next week sometime; too many irons in the
fire right now.

Ron
