I haven't made that mistake but one New Years Eve some years back I
picked up this hippy guy who was thumbing a ride downtown.
When I stopped at a filling station to put some water in my leaking
radiator this guy offered to do it. He then popped off my oil cap and
filled the crankcase with the water hose. Cooled it right down.
It was a little late for Happy New Year then too.
