I did it on my system and it worked exactly as I described. I suppose there
could be complications like which DB is being used and which version you are
using, but it has worked this way since V5.04 or so. Now I'm not saying what
you see is 'incorrect' only that something is 'different' and we have not
yet found what that is.
If you do a global change, then you would be changing all user account to a
new size. How would that allow one user to have a greater size? True,
modifying the registry will work, but again if you make the value smaller
than the default, sometime it is likely, IMail will change that back to the
default (I'd have to try a few things to say when the change would take
place).
Since I see something different that you and you think that is a 'bug', you
will need to give a more complete description of your configuration so
someone can attempt to duplicate your situation.
