Would love to see all the information for domains etc moved from the
registry into a database. Would make dynamic updates so much easier and
would reduce the size of the registry.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Version 7 -- Real or Development Cancelled?
No one wants to spend more money than they have to... because of that, we
need to know what the feature set and release date of the product will be.
We all need to have this information due to the small matter that our
overall need to improve our own services is inherently tied to this
particular product.
Would you suggest that we all "patch" together a number of features to make
the product more useable and then find out that they have all been
integrated into the new version? Might the situation be better if IPSWITCH
would just speak to us, the people who have already spent really money to
buy their product, and give us some level of expectation on this product?
How much harm could it cost them?
All I know is version 7 was about to be released for the past 6 months. In
viewing this particular mail list, in that time, the constant complaint is
that the product features are "secret" or maybe the product has "no further
development planned". This is not the proper way to treat the community
that supports you.
IMHO, the people at IPSWITCH should provide us a sneak preview of the
product, including a list of "potential" feature enhancement and an
estimated timeline for delivery. Is that really too much to ask?
Again, just my 2 cents.
