Hey guys,
Have any of you come across the problem when backing up that SMTP stops
responding? I try backing up about 10GB of user directories and SMTP stops
responding. I stop/start it and its ok for a few minutes. It only happens
when it gets to 7GB or so. I am using NTBackup under NT4 SP5, Imail 6.05.
There is about 70 % RAM free and processor is at 10%, less than 1% going to
NTBackup. ??
The funny thing is, if I backup another drive across the network to that
machine, it works like a dream. Is there a contest going on between NTBackup
and IMAIL for the user data? Why so inconsistent? (it works every so often).
Any help appreciated.
