Everyone I have ever talked to or read on usenet loves their sonicwall. We didn't.
Under a load of a T1 at 80% capacity and 1500 users connected (no vpn) it fell apart.
It started refusing connections - the load was on the heavy side but without it
running there were none of these problems. (we were running their xpsII or whatever
its called)

That said - I really have never heard anyone else speak bad of them and they are easy
to setup. When we bought ours it was brand new - we just couldn't wait for them to
work the kinks out.

I have heard universal hatred of their tech support and can share that. The tech
support person we talked to not only could not help but was completely ignorant on the
subject of hacks. When your firewall tells you someone is doing a specified attack -
and that attack involves spoofing the originating ip address - don't tell me to
tracert that ip.
