No, sending mail is not processor intensive. The cpu is nearly
always waiting on either disk i/o to/from the mailq and mailboxes or
network i/o, to/from other Internet mail servers. Buying a dual P900
with 1 gb of RAM is fun game of "bigger is better", but completely
wasteful for your project, where 50K mgs is really not much at
all. An hour's work for an efficient Mail Transfer Agetn, MTA.
