Whoa. What planet's number systems are you working with?

In the first place, 157D Hex = 5501 Decimal. 9DD Hex = 2525 Decimal

In the second place, why not just select decimal and enter it as 2525?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Modification of SMTP port in registry...

I was trying to setup webshield on the same machine as Imail. As discussed
below, I tried to make Imail listen to port 2525 instead of the standard 25
so that my webshield can have it instead.
As mentioned in Imail's manual, the modification of smtp port has to be done
from nt's registry. I added a string variable named 'Port' with the value
'0x157D' (for port 2525) to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/SMTPD32/Parameters.
However, upon testing using the command 'telnet <Imail server> 2525', I
couldn't connect to it. As such, I changed the 'Port' value to '0x19' (for
port 25) and test using the same command. Still, I couldn't connect.
Finally, when I removed the String variable 'Port' from the registry, it
works.

Maybe someone can point to me where I go wrong.

Thanks in advance.
